On Wednesday 25th November, Music Matters was delighted to perform in our first ever concert at the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance in the University of Limerick
Singers came from our Work Options (Monday mornings), St Michael's House Ballymun (Wednesday evenings) and supporters from the Memory Lane Choir in Crumlin
A total of 26 people - including the wonderful family members, support staff and volunteers joined us on this trip. We are very grateful to Jean Downey, Lecturer in the Irish World Academy, for her continued support and promotion of Music Matters within the university and beyond
We took the train bright and early from Heuston Station and arrived in Limerick at 12.15 PM
Music Matters would like to thank Joe Lawlor - Bus & Coach Hire, who provided our transfers to and from the University, looked after all of our members very well - and all at a very competitive price!
Our two soloists - Kelsey Brannigan and Naoise Kelly were very well received!
Our musicians were our Musical Director, Dave Flood on guitar and musical genius, Tennyson Firth on piano
Here are some photos of our members on stage and after the concert
